Did you know that GSML has museum rooms on our second floor, along with a cache of photos and documents pertaining to the history of South Windham?

We are excited to announce that we have been selected to be a recipient of the Collections Assessment Grant!

The Collections Assessment Grant is a program managed by Conservation ConneCTion and is supported through a partnership grant of the Connecticut Heritage Foundation at the Connecticut State Library and CT Humanities (CTH), with funding provided by the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development.

This grant will allow us to have a professional assessment done of our archives, including our antique books and historical documents and photos. Their report will help guide us as to how to properly preserve, store, catalog, and display our archives.
