Aubrey Hines – Director

Aubrey came to GSML after working first in healthcare and then at another public library.  She earned her Bachelor’s in History at Eastern Connecticut State University and her Masters Degree in Library Science from Texas Woman’s University.  She is passionate about ensuring equal access to the library and its services. She enjoys working in a public library setting and enjoys running programs for adults. In her free time, Aubrey loves to read, travel, and spend time with her family.

Sarah Boyd – Childrens’ Librarian

Sarah joined the Guilford Smith Memorial Libary staff after teaching first grade for ten years in Canterbury.  As a life-long lover of books, she brings this love and enthusiasm for reading to her position at the library.  Helping patrons find information or the perfect book is something Sarah takes great pride in.  Sarah enjoys doing crafts and being creative, and has had fun planning and implementing programs for teens and younger children.
